RIVENZALE'S GRETA NEXT ADVENTURE

     Greta is a pointed white commercial breed composite. She has proven to have an excellent growth rate, and we adore her rich color points on her ears and face. She was born here on the farm as part of Dora's B Litter. Her color seems to have come from a recessive gene hidden in Waffles' bloodline, which likely comes from when New Zealands were used to improve Californians' type for show. A poorly marked Cali may have been mistaken for white and bred back into New Zealand lines for generations. This doe will be crossed with Californian rabbits to decrease the New Zealand content until her descendants are considered purebred Californians for show purposes. We ultimately intend to produce purebred Californians for show purposes.
